Looking for peaceful and relaxing accommodation away from the ‘madness’ of downtown Byron Bay - but within a couple of minutes drive - you have come to the right place.
There is still plenty of vacancies during the winter months. Enjoy watching the humpback whales on their journey up and down the coast during winter or go and dive with the beautiful and friendly grey nurse sharks at Julian Rocks. Winter is a great time in Byron, accommodation is affordable and the days are generally dry with T-shirt weather. And at night curl up in front of the sizzling combustion stove in the PLANULA lounge.
As in 2007 Splendour in the Grass 2008 will be held at Belongil Fields. This means walking distance from PLANULA, no shuttle busses, no parking nightmare and its easy to have a break from the blues or rock & roll during the day. However PLANULA is now fully booked for Splendour 2008 - plan ahead and book your stay for the Blues Fest or Splendour in the Grass 2009.
